Bobbi-Jo Wathen, Guidance Counselor in Connecticut

I am currently a School/ Transition Counselor (068 CT Certified) at a private theraputic school in southern Connecticut.  I currently work with a population of students who receive intensive special education services.  The majority of my experience is in public high schools and middle schools working as a School Counselor and Behavior Interventionist.  I strive to meet students where they are at and develop a strong post secondary plan that meets their needs and abilities.  Prior to working in secondary schools I worked in Higher Education in Student Affairs.  I find that this experience helps me guide my high school students to choose schools that truely match their needs and abilities.
